On his daily commute to school, Makoto Itou becomes infatuated with the beautiful Kotonoha Katsura but lacks the courage to approach her. A rumor spreads that if you secretly photograph your crush, set it as your phone wallpaper, and keep it hidden for three weeks, your wish will come true. Makoto snaps a clandestine photo of Kotonoha and continues to admire her from a distance. One day, his classmate Sekai Saionji spots the picture and deduces his feelings for Kotonoha. She volunteers to assist, and thanks to her efforts, Makoto and Kotonoha begin a relationship. Feeling indebted to Sekai, Makoto is surprised when she demands a kiss as her reward.
