In the world of Steins;Gate, approximately one month after the time machine vanished, Okabe feels the all-too-familiar Reading Steiner kick in, then becomes dizzy. When he recovers, he receives a D-Mail sent by his future self from the year 2025. The message warns him of a dangerous future on their present worldline—one even more devastating than a dystopia or World War III. His task is to acquire an IBN 5100 from an individual named Neidthardt.
