The end of humanity is near as the sun moves closer to Earth, releasing lethal radioactive rays that kill all female fetuses. Many mothers die from severe hemorrhages while miscarrying their daughters. In the early stage of human extinction, chaos erupts: intense competition for partners, nations desperately searching for solutions, and families grieving lost loved ones. To find a remedy, the government orders all females to undergo testing. Among those tested, Ho Su is discovered to be immune to the sun's harmful radiation. To prevent international conflict over her, Professor Yun keeps this information secret and convinces Ho Su's father to let her enter hibernation, waiting for a more stable time before conducting experiments aimed at developing a vaccine. Three decades later, in 2042, the world is overwhelmingly male-dominated. Females are nearly extinct, with fewer than a hundred left, and the youngest woman is in her forties. Society has accepted polygamy for women due to their scarcity. Gender reassignment surgery, driven by sexual desire, is becoming more common but remains socially unacceptable. In this chaotic world, Ho Su awakens as the only girl among countless men.
