Junpei Takeda is a timid high school student who endures constant harassment from Shouta Kido and his friends. His childhood friend Noriko Tatsumiya often steps in to protect him. One day, an indifferent entity referred to as "God" sends Junpei and his bullies to a fantasy realm. In this new world, Junpei is still physically weak but receives a unique power that allows him to acquire skills from any foe he defeats. After months of struggling to survive, Junpei is deceived by Noriko and Kido into entering the "Sacrificial Labyrinth"—a dungeon crawling with deadly monsters from which no one has ever returned. Fueled by a thirst for vengeance, Junpei pushes deeper into the labyrinth, hoping to discover a way out.
