To address threats from the terrorist group the Argonauts, former LAPD SWAT officer Deunan Knotts leads a specialized military force composed of Biroids—synthetically engineered humans—alongside her cyborg partner Briareos. Dedicated to safeguarding the city, Knotts encounters fresh challenges when the presumed deceased Argonaut leader, Al Ceides, reappears and unsettles the peace.
