At the beginning of a new school year at the junior high school in Kamakura, a transfer student named Ryoichi Kyogoku joins the eighth grade. He is assigned to use his special telepathic abilities to take control of the school. With his charisma and powers, Ryoichi quickly becomes well-liked and manages to assert dominance over the entire institution—except for Seki. This sparks a struggle for the students and faculty to reclaim their freedom.
