Yami no Koe

In this anthology, several supernatural stories are told, each carrying a distinct eerie mood and gripping plot. Chi wo Susuru Yami delves into dark beings that feed on blood, while Golden Time no Yuurei examines spectral events that occur during dusk. Gouon carries a powerful roar echoing across the ages, and Obake Yashiki no Nazo uncovers secrets hidden within mansions that are haunted. The tale Glyceride weaves together with these chilling narratives, and Jibakusha confronts the suffering of those anchored to the earth. Finally, Shikeishuu no Yobirin calls spirits from beyond, adding another dimension of mystery to the series of hair-raising stories.

Background

Yami no Koe was published in Spanish by Ediciones Tomodomo on July 18, 2016. The one-shot Glyceride was published in English as Greased by VIZ Media as part of Shiver: Junji Ito Selected Stories on December 19, 2017. The remaining stories were published in English by Viz Media as part of Smashed: Junji Ito Story Collection on April 16, 2019.
