Sora, a zaraki warashi, longs to see his childhood friend Minami again. Though he keeps waiting, Minami does not come back from Tokyo. Sora eventually learns that Minami was in an accident and can no longer walk well. Resolved, the zaraki warashi leaves his home in the mountains and travels to the busy city of Tokyo.
