Miruku and his friend Natsu are struck by a strange beam of light on their way home from school. The light turns Natsu into a squirrel, and soon after, Miruku barely avoids falling rubble and becomes a Black King. They quickly find themselves caught up in a mysterious conflict between black and white knights.
