High school student Ogura Shio faces a traumatic event while visiting Taiwan, which unexpectedly awakens the spirit of the historical figure Oda Nobunaga within her. She quickly discovers she is not alone, as others have undergone similar experiences, learning they are called "E-Gene Holders." These individuals are responsible for fighting against alien invaders known as "Evolved Invasion Species," all under the direction of the international organization "DOGOO."
