Nagisa Misumi and Honoka Yukishiro are opposites in nearly every way. Nagisa is energetic and sports-oriented, while Honoka is studious and focused on her schoolwork. Despite attending the same school, the two have almost no connection with each other—until a meteor shower brings them together with Mippuru and Meppuru, who are escapees from the Garden of Light, a realm that has fallen under the control of Darkness. Gaining extraordinary abilities, Nagisa and Honoka transform into Cure Black and Cure White, the guardians of light, and join forces as Pretty Cure.
