Across the globe, powerful relics left behind by an ancient alien civilization are hidden, and many governments frantically pursue these artifacts to further their sinister agendas. Opposing them is the ARCAM corporation, which deploys its elite operatives called Spriggan to protect humanity from these extraterrestrial threats. Among these agents, Yuu Ominae is the foremost Spriggan, wielding advanced armor that boosts his abilities, and he is assigned to prevent catastrophic events that could endanger the world.

Background
Spriggan had three volumes published in English as Striker by VIZ Media from November 5, 1995 to May 6, 1999. This release was heavily edited in an attempt to mask anti-American sentiments. It also ran in the monthly anthology magazine Manga Vizion from June 1997 to February 1998. The series was published digitally in English as Spriggan by Seven Seas Entertainment as omnibus volumes from June 16, 2022 to June 27, 2023, and in print from August 30, 2022 to June 27, 2023.
