On his first trip to India, the elderly yet tireless manga creator Yukichi Yamamatsu faced illness, theft, and a severe language barrier to publish the inaugural Hindi translation of a Japanese comic. Now returning to the country, he operates an udon noodle cart in the slums of Delhi, mingles with drug dealers, performs stand-up comedy in public parks, and does everything he can to immerse himself in the everyday life of rural Purvanchal.
