After watching a sushi chef's graceful performance, Hanayu Ashitaba becomes mesmerized by the art of sushi-making. As the daughter of a pâtissier destined to inherit her father's confectionery shop, her dream appears out of reach. Nonetheless, she remains determined until she meets her classmate, Hayato Hyuuga. As the son of a sushi chef, Hyuuga is expected to continue his father's trade, but he displays no interest in it. Hanayu hatches a plan to marry into a sushi chef family and sets out to win Hyuuga's affection. However, her scheme is thrown off when Hyuuga unexpectedly asks her on a date, leaving Hanayu confused and rethinking her deceptive strategy. Furthermore, Hyuuga seems to have his own hidden agenda, raising questions about his real motives.
