In 198X, as the world teeters on the edge of nuclear war, scientists from across the globe work together to develop a medicine that, when consumed by children, transforms them into prodigies. They successfully establish the World's Children's League, which ultimately brings about global peace. Ozma serves as the patrol captain at the Japanese headquarters of this league. A decade earlier, Ozma's father, Professor Aoyama, created a new drug called Robon-X. When taken with water, it causes living organisms to enter a solid, hibernative state. The Juda Society gets wind of this discovery and plots to use it to take over the world. Fearing his invention could be exploited for evil, Aoyama and his wife drink the medicine and enter solid hibernation, leaving behind the newborn Ozma.
