The unavoidable truth of suffering caused by birth, aging, illness, and death is an inescapable reality. Buddhism provides the path to salvation through enlightenment. After a great war, a prince attained enlightenment and became Shaka Nyorai, saving the world. Centuries later, the age has fallen back into moral decay. Mara, the demon of anxiety who once tried to prevent Shaka's enlightenment, has joined forces with a devil to seek revenge against Shaka. By exploiting human fears, Mara aims to spread turmoil. To stop this menace, the Thirteen Buddhas, under Shaka's leadership, along with the guardian deities Taishakuten and Bonten, rise up to fight Mara and protect humanity from his influence. The battle between Mara and the Buddhist deities unfolds, with the destiny of humankind at stake.
