In a distant future, endless war has reduced the world to a barren desert, where a despotic king monopolizes every water source. Sheriff Rao seeks a mythical lake and requests aid from the demon king, who sends his son Beelzebub along with his accomplice Thief. This strange trio crosses the wasteland, confronting dragons, outlaws, and their greatest threat—the military forces of the very king they are aiding.
