Shun Aoi has always lived in the shadow of her older sister Mio, who is remarkably gifted and adored by everyone. This has led Shun to adopt a detached outlook toward her own future. Her only refuge is the forest near her school, where she spends time alone playing the flute. Her quiet daily life is disrupted by Yousuke Tokisaka, an energetic young man whose father is a well-known photographer. Although he is eccentric, Shun feels drawn to him after he praises her flute playing. This chance meeting grows into a sincere romance, and with Yousuke's support, Shun may begin to find her own sense of self-worth.
