Xiao Mogu

In 2020, Earth's magnetic poles disappeared, triggering cosmic radiation that nearly wiped out humanity. Over the following century, surviving life forms mutated and began preying on each other, leaving tens of thousands of humans fighting for survival inside artificial shelters. Deep within the Abyss—a region dominated by mutated xenogenics—a sentient mushroom flourished. Nourished by the blood and remains of a deceased human named An Ze, it took on a human-like appearance and identity, adopting the name An Zhe. Driven by the need to recover his spore, which had been taken by humans, An Zhe makes his way toward the human base. There, he constantly risks exposure by the Judges, whose task is to detect and eliminate xenogenics. Among them, Colonel Lu Feng is known for his sharp perception and ruthless approach—as soon as he identifies a xenogenic, execution follows without hesitation. Nevertheless, An Zhe's unique mutation escapes Lu Feng's detection, setting the stage for a narrative of coexistence between humans and xenogenics.
