In the corrupt city of Ergastulum, where superhuman beings called "twilights" coexist with ordinary people, tensions run high. These twilights, distinguished by their heightened strength and speed, are manipulated by powerful factions—the Corsica Family, the Monroe Family, the Cristiano Family, and the Paulklee Guild—to maintain the city's precarious balance. Worick Arcangelo, a charismatic human, and Nicolas Brown, his deaf twilight friend, form a neutral agency named "The Handymen." Together, they undertake various jobs for a living. One day, they agree to what appears to be a standard task for the police: eliminating a competing pimp and his prostitute. However, this mission turns out to be anything but routine, pulling Worick and Nicolas into a dangerous journey that could shake the core of Ergastulum to its foundations.
