Natsume Tomoharu lives a typical high school existence, aside from the perpetual company of Misao, the ghost of his closest friend. When Tomoharu moves into his brother's former home, he expects things to return to normal. But his daily routine is thrown into chaos after he finds a strange locked briefcase with no understanding of its importance. He tries to simply put it away, yet soon finds himself hounded by multiple factions desperate to take the briefcase. Even though he remains unsure of what it truly is, Tomoharu and Misao flee with it. During their escape, Tomoharu grows determined to uncover the secrets behind the briefcase, its link to Misao, and its ability to reshape reality.
