Jinha wanders with his uncle and fatefully meets Suli, who is of mixed Han and Molgol blood, in Habuksung, Sanmehyun. The two fall deeply in love but are cruelly forced to part ways due to the death of Suli’s mother. Even though they are separated, they see each other from a distance. Suli runs to an arbor every half month to wait for Jinha. However, Jinha is forced to marry Namgoongjun, a native of the Han tribe. Meanwhile, Jinha learns the secret of his birth from his dying uncle and vows to avenge his parents, honing himself into a swordsman. A cruel fate makes the two meet as enemies, and they end up drawn into a swirl of conflict. With Joowonjang and Jinwooryang scrambling for political power, the twisted confrontation—which might otherwise seem mundane—makes the story more intriguing.
