Tamako, raised in an overprotected environment, aspires to attend a university in Tokyo together with her romantic partner. Her grandfather, however, stands against this idea. To get past this hurdle, she devises a fake engagement to Noriyuki. In exchange, her grandfather consents to provide financial backing for the store run by Noriyuki’s relatives, which allows both Tamako and Noriyuki to fulfill their educational goals in Tokyo.
