In a future where the world's oceans have risen and swallowed much of the coastline, the villainous scientist Zorndyke has wrought massive destruction and death. His army of animal-human hybrids has attacked and obliterated numerous human settlements. The remaining humans struggle to survive as they resist Zorndyke's aquatic forces. Humanity's greatest hope for putting an end to the war lies with their submarine fleet, especially the critical vessel known as Blue Submarine #6. As it turns out, Zorndyke aims to trigger a reversal of the geomagnetic poles by harnessing geothermal energy from the South Pole, a scheme that would grant his hybrid creatures a crucial edge in the conflict.
