In a realm where magic and technology coexist, Rayotte Steinberg, a lone tactical sorcerer, battles monsters—humans twisted by excessive use of forbidden magic. To preserve his humanity, he wears a restraining garment called "mold." His weapon is a "staff," a magic wand capable of destroying anything. Each spell he casts brings him closer to becoming the very monsters he fights, yet refraining from magic would mean death. Amid these fierce conflicts, Rayotte must also confront a dark secret from his past.
