Kyojin no Hoshi

In "Kyojin no Hoshi," Hyuma Hoshi, a talented baseball pitcher, aspires to reach the same heights in professional Japanese baseball that his father, Ittetsu Hoshi, previously attained. Ittetsu, a former third baseman, was forced to retire after an injury he suffered during World War II. When Hyuma joins the famous Giants team, he is confronted with the heavy burden of living up to great expectations. Through demanding training and his fierce rivalry with Mitsuru Hanagata of the Hanshin Tigers, Hyuma must rely on his outstanding pitching skills to succeed.
