This official manga adaptation of Bandai's popular Cartoon Network show blends manga with film noir, extending the narrative BEYOND the original television series. Forty years ago, an unknown incident caused all residents of Paradigm City to lose their memories, forcing them to rebuild their culture from scattered fragments. In this relatively young city, Roger Smith works as a mediator, handling high-stakes negotiations between the police, civilians, and criminals. However, remnants of the past have survived the collective amnesia—the MegaDeuses, giant machines either built by the city’s former inhabitants or by those suffering from amnesia. When crime and disorder escalate, Roger Smith enforces justice by piloting the massive robot known as THE BIG O.
