In the era of True Calendar 71, humanity has expanded into space, with seven-tenths of the population living inside Dyson Sphere orbital colonies. Two superpowers control the political scene: the Dorssia Military Pact Federation, forged through military cooperation, and the Atlantic Rim United States (ARUS), built from trade agreements. The neutral nation of JIOR manages to keep peace between them, supported by its prosperous economy. In JIOR's sphere, Haruto Tokishima lives an ordinary life in the Module 77 sector—until the Dorssian army launches a surprise assault. As war erupts, Haruto stumbles upon a mysterious humanoid weapon known as the Valvrave, changing everything.
