Da Capo

Every year, the lovely cherry blossoms cover the crescent-shaped island of Hatsune. Asakura Junnichi, a student at Kazami Academy, possesses a special power: he can enter other people's dreams while asleep and also conjure sweets using magic he learned from an old woman. One night, Junnichi drifts into what seems like a stranger's dream, where he meets a childhood friend. His sister, Asakura Nemu, interrupts the dream and brings him back to his normal life. Though they aren't related by blood, Junnichi and Nemu share a bond that feels more intimate than typical sibling affection, almost like a romance. The next day proceeds as usual: waking early and heading to Kazami Academy. Junnichi spends time with his childhood friend Amakase Miharu, the school's idol Shirakawa Kotori, and the Mizukoshi sisters, Moe and Mako, who enjoy eating nabe on the school rooftop for lunch. Their routine is shaken when Yoshino Sakura, who everyone thought had moved to America, suddenly appears. Her return shocks both Junnichi and Nemu, as she announces, "I've come to keep the promise we made as children."
