Neji to Lantern

The debut manga from Asuka Katsura, who has contributed to the Le Portrait de Petit Cossette manga and Blood+, this original oneshot is set in nineteenth-century England. Coco is a young girl who, after losing both her parents, inherits the aristocratic title of marquise along with all its accompanying duties. A new tutor named Nidell is hired to teach Coco the many languages required of nobility, and he soon finds himself confronting a past he has tried to conceal while growing into more of a father figure than a teacher. The art of Bolt and Lantern is equal parts charming and intricate, making it a must-read for anyone who enjoys nineteenth-century fashion—or adorable little girls and dashing young men. Later on, there is also a pretty maid with a large bust and an arrogant little boy.
