At the Ansarivan Dragon Knight Academy, students form bonds with dragons and study the skills of nurturing and training their mythical partners. Among them is Ash Blake, who stands out due to a special Seikokuon on his hand that marks him as a potential dragon contractor, yet he has no dragon of his own. Following a specific incident, Ash's dragon finally emerges from its egg, but instead of appearing as a typical dragon, it takes the form of a human girl.
