After the advanced Golden Tribe departed into the far reaches of space, humanity teeters on the edge of destruction. With the Golden Tribe gone, the Silver Tribe has taken control as the dominant power, claiming to be the rightful successor to the Golden Tribe's heritage. Princess Deianeira of the Iron Tribe sets out on a journey to locate the legendary figure mentioned in her people's ancient stories—a savior believed to have the power to save her race. This mysterious individual is the only human ever reared by the Golden Tribe before they vanished from the universe. When they arrive at the ruined planet Oron, where this person is said to live, Deianeira and her crew are ambushed by the Bronze Tribe. Just before the attack, they encounter a young boy named "Age," who may hold the key to their survival.
