A series of strange suicides is occurring in New York. One morning, four high school girls awaken feeling exhausted and confused, with no memory of the previous night. When they reach school, they learn that one of their classmates has killed herself. School is dismissed early, but instead of heading home, the girls are lured to a park by butterflies that only they can see. There, a man and a woman reveal that all four of them died the night before.
