Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai

Seventeen-year-old Kyousuke Kousaka, a typical high school student, has long endured a strained relationship with his younger sister Kirino. For years, Kirino has shown him little interest, often looking at him with disdain. As Kirino approached her fourteenth birthday, it seemed their distant relationship would continue unchanged. One day, Kyousuke finds a DVD case for the magical girl anime *Hoshikuzu Witch Merle* (*Stardust Witch Merle*) lying in the entrance of their home. Inside the case, he discovers a hidden adult game titled *Imouto to Koishiyo!* (*Love with Little Sister!*). Trying to find out who left the case, Kyousuke brings up magical girl anime during dinner, but this only provokes strong disapproval from his parents—especially his father, a police officer who is vehemently opposed to otaku culture. Later that night, Kirino unexpectedly enters Kyousuke’s room and initiates what might be their first real conversation in years, saying she needs to discuss something important. She leads him to her room and reveals her secret stash of moe anime and lolicon bishoujo games.
