Akko Kagari, an ordinary girl who is deeply fascinated by the famous witch Shiny Chariot, enrolls at Witch Academia determined to become as skilled as her idol. Despite having no prior magical training, Akko remains resolute in her ambition to succeed and fulfill her dreams at the school. The story follows Akko as she starts her studies alongside her close companions Lotte Yansson and Sucy Manbavaran, picking up the fundamentals of witchcraft. However, her excitement is dampened when she learns that Shiny Chariot is not as highly regarded by other witches as she once believed.
