Plastic Model Wrestling Sanshiro

This tale follows a boy called Sanshiro Sugata and his tiny PlaWrestler, Juohmaru, a pocket robot equipped with a super LSI circuit. At first, the series centered on Sanshiro and Juohmaru competing against other PlaWrestlers in robot battle tournaments, which fused modern pro wrestling, advanced robot combat, and Japanese Noh theater. Later, the narrative turned toward Sanshiro investigating how PlaWrestling tech might be applied to medical implants, bringing him into conflict with people who wanted to repurpose it for military ends.
