Hiro Kobayashi's ordinary, uneventful existence takes a sudden turn when he's given the job of defending Earth from the mysterious transfer student, Yamada Meteor. Thrown into this bizarre predicament, Hiro feels completely out of his depth as he takes on the burden of protecting the planet from alien dangers, with humanity's very survival at stake. If he fails, mankind faces annihilation and Earth falls victim to the "meteor monster." Although "Love" is presented as the key to resolving this crisis, that discovery only brings Hiro an entirely fresh set of complications.
