In kindergarten, Ao proudly told her classmates that her father, a famous writer of adult fiction, had picked her name: "A is for apple, and O is for orgy!" Now a decade later, that memory still haunts her, and she throws herself into studying with a single ambition: getting into a top university so she can get out from under her father's influence. Ao is convinced she has no time for romance or silly crushes—until her classmate Kijima, known as the "King Normie," suddenly declares his feelings for her. Even though she tries to brush him off, Kijima won't give up, and as Ao starts slipping into risqué fantasies, she begins to understand that her father's impact on her is far greater than she ever thought.
