In the 30th century, the entire world is brought together under the Kingdom of Earth. As her 16th birthday approaches, Princess Kyouko is meant to be celebrated with a grand festival. Unknown to the public, she lives secretly as Kyouko Suomi, a stubborn and self-centered junior high student. She avoids her royal duties and favors her ordinary school life over the demands of being royalty. Her father, the King of Earth, presents her with a choice: if she can find the 12 telepaths who can use the God Stones to rouse her twin sister, Princess Ui, from her coma, he will free Kyouko from her royal commitments and let her sister take the throne. Accepting this deal, Kyouko gets the first God Stone, the Time-Space Stone, and sets out on a journey to discover the remaining stones and their wielders, accompanied by her protectors, Sakataki and Hizuki Jin.
