In the Uchihama district at the start of the 21st century, autumn has arrived, and Uchihama Academy is expanding rapidly. With a new school building under construction, the old building—slated for closure—will host its final General Club Festival. The student body is determined to make this last cultural celebration a triumph. Sou Akiyama, the protagonist, heads the Astronomy Club, whose membership includes several prominent figures on campus. On October 1st, just before the festival, the student council asks the club to help calm the growing unease among students. Strange occurrences—ghost sightings, accidents, a sleeping sickness, and other oddities—have been reported in the old building. When Yui Furukawa, a quiet transfer student, unexpectedly approaches Sou, the gears of fate begin to turn.
