In 1968, a mysterious ethereal moon appears in the sky. Half a billion years earlier, on this same moon, the Moko Empire faces a threat from the hostile Gerdan nation. Prince Norman sets out on a mission to find people with extraordinary powers to help him fight his enemies. Taku, a present-day Japanese boy, is selected and transported back in time to join a special combat unit alongside Prince Norman. As Taku's developing psychic abilities strengthen, the moon goes on high alert, and the survival of an entire empire—and possibly far more—hinges on these specially chosen individuals.
