Nene Nanakorobi, a girl enhanced with cybernetics, moves to the island city of Cenancle to stay with her aunt, unaware of the adventures lying ahead. Chance brings her together with Uzal Delilah, a wealthy inventor, and his peculiar yet hot-tempered cyborg companion, Clarion. Thrilled to have found a friend, Nene soon learns that Uzal, Clarion, and even Cenancle itself conceal far deeper secrets than she ever expected. When a superpowered terrorist threatens the city, Uzal reveals that the only way to prevent catastrophe is for Nene to join forces with Clarion and unlock their dormant powers.
