Kurono Crawford (Chrono Crawford) was a noble of the Cepheus Empire who harbored a secret: he had come from another world—modern Japan. Armed with knowledge of contemporary weaponry and a different set of values, he was practically a cheat-like existence, all while pursuing his goal of becoming a "harem king." After being abandoned by his superiors and placed in command of the empire's outcasts—a motley crew of demi-humans including Minotaurs, Dwarfs, and Elves—Chrono was thrust into the role of overseeing a destitute fiefdom. Determined to turn things around, he does everything in his power to rebuild and reinforce his forces, revitalize the land, and make use of the knowledge he brought from his original world.
