Julia waits for Riccardo Fabbrini, a major figure in the business world. When he finally shows up, he is stunningly handsome, yet he speaks to Julia with the utmost arrogance, brushing her off completely. Riccardo was previously married to her sister-in-law, who passed away in an accident alongside Julia's brother not long ago. Since then, Julia has been looking after the daughter the couple left behind. Worried about what lies ahead for her beloved niece, Julia makes up her mind to confess the full truth to Riccardo.
