While leaving school one afternoon, fifth-grader Sawa is suddenly engulfed in a brilliant light, and before she knows it, she's standing in a landscape that could have come right out of a fantasy novel. With no way of returning to Earth, she has no choice but to take up the mantle of the Dawn Hero and stop the Witch's mist from consuming the world. Sawa quickly realizes that in this world, no one is known by their name—only by the role they play in life. From that moment onward, she is called nothing but Hero. Joined by Servant, Dagger, and Lady Knight, she sets out on her journey to carry out her duty as the hero destined to save the world! Can this tiny hero live up to the role that was thrust upon her?
