Mugi Asai is an exceptionally timid young woman who frequently goes silent and sometimes passes out at the mere thought of addressing even a small group. At the start of her high school life at a new school, she is tricked into becoming a member of the Drama Research Society. Because the club has so few members, Mugi winds up performing multiple parts over the course of the school year.
