A passionate vending machine enthusiast meets an ironic end when he is crushed by one of his own beloved machines. After death, he is reborn as a vending machine in a fantasy world. Waking up in a forest full of frogmen and other monsters, Boxxo—now a vending machine with only two products available—discovers that he must collect coins to restock his inventory, maintain his energy, and unlock new abilities through upgrades. His fortunes change when a young woman discovers the sentient vending machine and carries him to a nearby human village. Despite being unable to move or speak, communicating only through pre-recorded messages, Boxxo gradually influences those around him and gathers a diverse group of allies over time.
