My name is Sakuya Hoshi, an ordinary high school student attending Suijou Academy. However, for some reason, every night I find myself "summoned" by an eerie dream. The dream shows a town trapped in an endless night, with no signs of other people—only "monsters" lurking in place of humans. It is a truly dangerous world. Together with a girl I meet in that dream, Akeno Gasukamori, we search for a way to somehow escape this never-ending nightmare... Will we ever manage to get out of this eternal night safely, with monsters chasing after us and countless other horrors repeating over and over...? And what exactly—or who—is waiting for us at the end...?!
