Patalliro Saiyuki!
In "Patallaro Saiyuki!", the Buddhist monk Genjou Sanzou is dispatched by the Emperor on a quest to retrieve the sacred Buddhist scriptures. Along his journey, Sanzou encounters an Earth Deity, who reveals that Buddha has assigned him a disciple—Son Goku, the Monkey Deity who was sealed inside a mountain for five centuries due to his disruptive behavior in Heaven. Sanzou is joined by the hedonistic Cho Hakkai and the former heavenly army General Sagojyou. Their group is completed by Ryuuba, the Dragon Crown Prince, who serves as their steed. Together, they embark on numerous adventures, including battles against various monsters and even engaging in bishounen competitions.
