Ginta Toramizu is a 14-year-old boy struggling with poor eyesight, academic troubles, and a lack of athletic ability, yet he constantly dreams of a fantasy world where he embodies all the strengths he lacks in reality. One day, a mysterious force pulls him from his ordinary life into a magical realm full of wonder and danger. In this new world, Ginta finds himself powerful, resilient, and capable, even able to see clearly without his glasses. Determined to find a way back home, Ginta embarks on a journey to collect magical artifacts called "ÄRMS," hoping one of them might hold the secret to returning to his original world. He is joined by his friend Jack and a unique, sentient, mustachioed iron ball named "Babbo," which only Ginta can wield. Together, they explore this wondrous yet perilous land, pursued by those who covet Babbo's power.
